Feb 2022 Breakfast

In 2018, Google proposed a new TOD urban campus in downtown San Jose. Protesters chained themselves to the seats in City Hall. Three years later, the City Council unanimously approved a 30-year development agreement for nearly 8 million SF of office, 6,000 units of housing, and new parks and trails. Our panel tells the story (and lessons learned) about how the City of San Jose and Google charted a path to good outcomes on both sides.

  • A-P Hurd, President, SkipStone [Moderator]
