Dean has more than 30 years experience in the design, construction and real estate industries in the Pacific Northwest. Under his leadership, McKinstry has grown from a mechanical contractor into a comprehensive design, build, operate, and maintain enterprise with more than $500 million per year in revenues and nearly 2,000 employees. 

In addition to his work at McKinstry, Dean has served the community in a variety of industry and philanthropic roles. Outside the realm of facility systems, his passions revolve around global health and education, driven by the idea that all children deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential. Dean currently serves on the boards of PATH, Seattle Children’s Hospital, the Washington Roundtable and Washington STEM.

Dean serves as CEO and Chairman for McKinstry Co., LLC and McKinstry Essention, LLC.
