South Sound March Breakfast: Sound Transit 3

Don’t miss the train! Get prepared for Sound Transit 3 and its impacts on South Sound real estate.

Sarah Lovell, Transit Oriented Development Planning Manager, and Chelsea Levy, Government and Community Relations Officer in South King and Pierce Counties, both with Sound Transit, will kick off the breakfast with a comprehensive update of South Sound projects included in ST3. From there, Kidder Mathews' Blair Howe will discuss the anticipated impacts of ST3 to the real estate market and what future transit-oriented development opportunities may result from Sound Transit 3 improvements. Tony Colombini, founder of Puget Sound Appraisal, will provide his insights to the valuation impacts ST3 and related development may have on Sound Sound real estate.

About our speakers

Sarah Lovell is the Transit Oriented Development Planning Manager in Sound Transit’s Office of Planning and Development. Sarah has lead Sound Transit’s TOD program since 2014 where she oversees a team charged with strategic planning for and implementation of development projects on agency-owned properties throughout the three-county Sound Transit District. With more than 16 active projects across the district and a growing property portfolio, Sound Transit TOD is playing an increasing role regional development.

Chelsea Levy is Sound Transit’s Government and Community Relations Officer in South King and Pierce counties.  In this capacity she works with city councils, chambers of commerce and other key stakeholders in the South Sound. 

Blair Howe guides Kidder Mathews consulting services practice; a team-oriented practice that delivers advice, guidance, and assistance in real estate matters that is personalized, objective and solution-oriented. Services include project management, strategic planning, consensus building, project feasibility and planning, market and location analysis, risks and needs analysis, acquisition and disposition planning and execution, master planning, public/ private partnerships, and transit oriented development.

Tony Colombini is the founder of Puget Sound Appraisal, which provides commercial real estate valuation and commercial real estate consultation for purposes of mortgage underwriting, estate planning, estate tax, acquisition, and internal decision making. PSA values and analyzes all types of real property and income producing properties including office buildings, industrial buildings, apartment complexes, retail buildings, shopping centers, manufactured home parks, subdivisions, mixed portfolios, mixed-use properties and a multitude of other property types.
