Rendering of State Hotel in downtown Seattle with Pike Place Market visible in background

Lake Union Partners is repurposing the historic Eitel Building, located just one block from the Pike Place Market, into The State Hotel, an independent boutique hotel with 90 guest rooms. The ground floor will be anchored by a signature restaurant at the prominent corner of 2nd Avenue and Pike Street. The project plans for an extensive rehabilitation of the landmark building to comply with current building code. This includes a seismic structural upgrade of the interior systems, refinishing the exterior brick façade, re-construction of the street level storefronts, and the addition of an 8th floor which includes guest rooms with a seasonal bar and event space facing the Pike Place Market, and Elliot Bay.
