NAIOPWA's Government Affairs state advocacy team invites you for a legislative recap now that the 2024 short session has adjourned. Along with key coalition partners, NAIOPWA fought for wins in conversion incentives and early adoption incentives for tier 1 and tier 2 buildings and successfully defeated bills like rent control, real estate excise/transfer tax hikes, and a rental B&O Tax proposal. NAIOPWA has proven to be a important voice in legislation and policy affecting the commercial real estate industry. Some topics for our session lookback include:
