CREW Seattle & Sound November Luncheon

What is the gender gap in CRE? How about in King County? Why does the gender wage gap still exist? What can be done?

Join CREW Seattle & Sound for a discussion focused on the persistent issue of gender pay equality in Commercial Real Estate and in King County. Barbi Reuter, COO of Cushman & Wakefield|PICOR, and Liz Vivian, CEO of the Women’s Funding Alliance, will present the facts and recommend strategies for companies and individuals to counter this issue.

After sharing an overview of CREW Network, Barbi Reuter will discuss key findings and action items from the Network’s 2015 Benchmark Study Report on Women in Commercial Real Estate. The study measures progress for women in commercial real estate over a 10 year span.

Liz Vivian will present on the gender wage gap in King County where women working full time earn 76 cents for every dollar earned by men, one of the largest pay gaps in the country. She will also share about her work with The Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce on 100% Talent, a voluntary, employer-led gender equity initiative.
